STEM Recruitment Solutions is delighted to partner with an established electrical manufacturer in Glasgow to hire a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in electrical design within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Create precise electrical schematics and layout drawings for custom projects.

Transform initial concept sketches into engineering designs for clients

Develop and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs)

Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams, including mechanical engineers to address design issues

Play an active role in product development and ongoing improvements across the business.

Skills and Requirements:

Experience with design software (ideally Solidworks and AutoCAD)

Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering (e.g. Bachelor’s, HNC, HND, SVQ, NVQ or equivalent)

Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous

Hours of Work

4-day week

Monday – Thursday

7am - 5pm
