Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their accountancy practice in Croydon.

The role entails (but is not limited to):

Liaising with clients and third parties as required.

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for clients with reconciliation and schedules to support all entries.

Preparing VAT returns for clients with various needs and managing client queries.

Performing book-keeping duties for clients when necessary.

Reviewing work carried out by other members of the team.

Ad hoc tasks as required by the company.

A successful candidate will have:

Previous experience working within accountancy practices (ideally 3 years).

Excellent organisation and time management.

Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Proficiency with Excel, Sage and other accountancy softwares.

Preferably be fully or part-qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT.

The salary for this position is £28,000 per annum.

Our client will provide help to become a qualified accountant for the right candidate
