Role Overview:

Join thier Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as a Senior Staff Nurse, dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children. Thier 14-bed PICU is equipped with the latest technology and a team of Consultant Paediatric Intensivists available 24/7, ensuring exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge nurse

* Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team

* Act as a role model and mentor to junior and student nurses

* Foster strong relationships with children and their families

Qualifications and Skills:

* NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child/RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support

* Post-graduate experience in a PICU setting

* Understanding of safeguarding issues

* Desirable: Teaching/mentoring experience, PICU course (60 credits), experience with audits, supervising, and shift leading
