Our client is an established and successful business based in Newcastle. They are looking for an Order Processor to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply below.

The Job you will be Doing

* Supporting the team by inputting orders and placing into manufacturing on the same day as received

* Accurately enter and process order within relevant company IT systems, ensuring data integrity and timely processing

* Working with production to ensure all orders and scanned and physically placed in the correct manufacturing process following order input

* Updating the system for any orders agreed to be brought forward, and ensuring production are aware of the date amendment

* Ensuring on time delivery of products onto the shop floor

* Progress chasing orders within manufacturing

* Working with order departments such as manufacturing and customer services

* Efficient and accurately perform high volume data entry for orders

About You

* Qualification or relevant experience in a purchasing function

* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

* Confident communicator, capable of collaborating effectively with other departments

* Strong customer and commercial awareness

* Adaptable and confident working with and integrating information from a variety of systems and departments

* Able to multitask effectively

* Works to ensure a diverse and inclusive environment

* Demonstrates a commitment to professional and personal quality standards

* Team player with a positive attitude
