Offshore Wind Supply Chain Strategy Advisory

In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving transformative strategies for our clients, focussing on market entry, new product development, strategic cost reduction and industry knowledge management.

You will work closely with other senior colleagues, directly influencing client corporate decisions and supporting the health and growth of supply chains in both emerging and established markets.

Responsibilities

As a senior in our strategy consulting team, you will:

* Lead strategic consulting projects: Take the lead in delivering high-impact projects.

* From assessing a business’s position in the industry to crafting a strategic plan for sustainable competitive advantage, you will ensure our clients receive strategies that drive real-world success.

* Drive growth of our influence: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, developing compelling proposals that expand our influence and help clients succeed in new ways.

* Inspire and manage: Lead and support your colleagues through line- and team management, nurturing future leaders within the company and embedding a culture of excellence throughout the team.

* Shape industry knowledge: Help build and maintain our in-house datasets of critical industry knowledge, transforming data into insights that empower clients to make informed, strategic decisions.

Your work will include developing and implementing knowledge management for use internally and by clients.

* Continuously refine our consulting processes, keeping us at the forefront of strategic advisory thinking. Whether it is optimising our ways of listening to industry or enhancing the way we present our work to clients, you will ensure our clients stay ahead in a competitive market.

* Collaborate and network: Leverage our shared network of industry contacts to facilitate introductions for clients, helping them find the right partners and investors. Your collaborative efforts will streamline routes to market and accelerate business growth.

About You

You are not just a consultant; you are a leader, innovator, and collaborator with a passion for driving global change. To excel in this role, you will need:

Deep industry experience: 4-5+ years (8+ years for Associate Director) in the wind industry or a related sector, with a solid background in strategy development, planning, and hands-on experience in new product development and/or market entry strategies.

* A proven record in management consulting or similar strategic role, with the ability to think ahead and craft strategies that deliver sustainable competitive advantage.

* The drive to manage and grow client relationships, turning connections into long-term partnerships. Your ability to generate consulting sales and deliver tangible benefits will be key to your success.

* Strong people management capabilities, with the talent to lead, coach, delegate to and motivate a high-performing team. We deliver best together, playing to strengths and knowing our weaknesses.

* Analytical and technical acumen and creativity: Exceptional analytical skills, coupled with strong critical thinking and proficiency in analytical tools. You will be able to quickly pick up new tools and work out how to deliver, often starting from a clean sheet of paper.

* Communication excellence: Superior English language skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate complex ideas and strategies to clients and colleagues alike.

* Adaptability and initiative: A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to prioritise a varied and demanding workload. You thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment and are constantly eager to learn and grow, both personally and through mentoring and encouraging others.
