Pay:  up to £32 per hour

Contract: Full-Time Locum

Are you a dedicated and qualified Social Worker looking for a new challenge? We are working with a local authority in North London that is seeking passionate professionals to join their dynamic Assessment & Safeguarding Team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families while working in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake thorough assessments of children and families in need of support and protection.

Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.

Work closely with multi-agency teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk.

Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.

Attend court proceedings and provide professional reports and evidence when necessary.

Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing service development.

Requirements:

Must be Social Work England registered.

A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in children's social care, preferably within an assessment or safeguarding team.

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to child protection.

Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.

Ability to manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing urgent tasks.

Experience working in a local authority setting is desirable.
