Job Title: Design Coordinator

Tier 1 Main Contractor

Location: London and Thames Valley (Reading, Oxford, Aylesbury)

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 + car allowance + excellent benefits

About the Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a Design Coordinator, driving innovative infrastructure projects across London (within the M25) and the Thames Valley region. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping designs that are safe, sustainable, and efficient while ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate designs within budget, programme, and compliance requirements.
Support CDM regulations and Principal Designer duties.
Promote safety, buildability, sustainability, and environmental best practices.
Liaise with construction teams to ensure site investigations and buildable designs.
Oversee external design consultants and engage with stakeholders.
Manage design change, risks, and opportunities while ensuring quality assurance.
Contribute to temporary works processes and project handovers.
What We're Looking For:

3+ years in water/wastewater infrastructure.
Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent (or working towards).
Awareness of BIM and Temporary Works.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
