Elementa Support Services is proud to partner with a leading Education company based in Pill, North Somerset, to recruit a specialist Teacher of Psychology. This exciting opportunity is within a well-regarded Multi Academy Trust which is committed to fostering a supportive educational environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective psychology lessons to students, inspiring a passion for learning and an understanding of the subject. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators to contribute to learners' academic success across the school. Whilst the key teaching element of this role is psychology, you will also be required to cover subjects within the Humanities department, including RE and PSHE.

The start date of this role is ASAP, however, for the right candidate they may hold off until after the February half-term, with the contract running for a minimum of 1 term but most likely 2 terms.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality psychology lessons in accordance with the curriculum.

Support students' learning and development, catering to diverse learning needs.

Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development and any concerns.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).

A strong background in Psychology and experience teaching the subject.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to student welfare and learning.

Enthusiasm for contributing to the positive ethos of the academy.

Contract & recruitment information
