We are now recruiting for a Strategic Key Account Manager for our client based in the heart of London, with modern and welcoming offices with all the facilities to promote productivity and collaboration. Joining an exciting workplace in Central London in the fast-growing e-commerce industry.
Working in a small but rapidly growing Sales team your role as a Strategic Key Account Manager is an ambassador for the customer, to promote excellent customer service and innovation, ensuring their expectations are met and where possible exceeded. Building long term relationships with customers that maximises all opportunities, to ensure each account reaches its growth potential.
Main role and responsibilities
* Focus on growing and developing existing accounts, through the up-selling and cross-selling of available products. There will be at times some customer visits involved although minimal, with office working around once per week and the rest of the time spent remotely
* Take ownership of and manage the tender process, as well as requests for quotations for current customers
* Oversee the onboarding of new products for current customers and new customers (where required)
* Provide guidance to the Customer Service Team to ensure that they are meeting the customer's needs, acting as an escalation point for the customer.
* Liaise with all other relevant internal Departments to ensure that all customer deadlines and requirements are met.
* To have a detailed understanding of the strategy and objectives and to take these into consideration in all aspects of the Account Management approach.
Experience and attributes required for the role:
* Previous experience in Account Management of major National Accounts or Territory Sales
* Experience in eRetail or eCommerce or similar styled business
* Strong Account Management and relationship building skills
* A positive, pro-active, go-get-um attitude
* Highly self-motivated
* Experience in CRM
Salary and Benefits
My client offers a competitive total salary package - £55,000 to £60,000 circa
With a potential bonus of 15%, and an additional 15% stretch based on KPI's set around revenue generated for existing customers and growth.
Offering a flexible working policy, 2 days per week, these can be agreed with the Manager. The other 3 days can be from home, this can be slightly more flexible for this role as you will be out visiting Customers, although they do prefer to say its 2 days per week.
