Quantity Surveyor - Up to £85,000 + Package + Bonus

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and dynamic team within the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a range of exciting projects, with a focus on delivering quality, value, and efficiency throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the procurement of subcontracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximum value.

* Collaborate with design and technical teams to explore value engineering opportunities during design and procurement phases.

* Oversee subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations, and final account settlements.

* Continuously monitor project risk and opportunity schedules to assess cost impacts.

* Prepare and update cost reports, cashflow forecasts, and subcontractor accruals.

* Ensure strict adherence to contractual and financial procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

* Assist in resolving subcontractor disputes and support effective contract administration.

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

* A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

* Proven experience in managing housing development projects, with a particular focus on mixed-tenure schemes.

* Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

* Proficiency in using construction and project management software such as Bluebeam, Coins, and MS Office.

* Familiarity with standard forms of contract, including JCT and affordable housing agreements.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary & Benefits:
