Field based and remote role - UK wide travel

£40,000 - £50,000 + Van + Mileage allowance + Bonus + Pension + Progression + Holidays

This company install commercial Solar PV systems to clients all across the UK from 6kw up to multi-megawatt projects, they are MCS accredited and have an excellent reputation within the industry. They are looking for Solar technicians that will help with their increasing work load.

In this role, you will conduct site surveys throughout the North of England, evaluating the suitability of commercial buildings for solar installation onto the rooftops. You will conduct detailed surveys of mounting systems, document any issues, and prepare a scope of works for the technical team.

The Role:
- Conducting site surveys to evaluate suitability of Solar installations onto commercial rooftops
- Coordinate survey tasks with the technical team ensuring punctual and self-motivated execution of your schedule
- Identify and document any defects or issues that could affect the proposed system
- Travel to sites nationwide 3 days a week and work remotely 2 days a week.

The Person:
- Strong knowledge of Solar systems onto commercial buildings
- Experience in identifying and assessing defects or issues in Solar PV installation.
- Must have roofing and leadership experience
