Job Role: General Labourer – Fitout Contract
Location: Thurrock and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £12.21/hr basic | £13.00/hr (with weekly attendance bonus)
Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable General Labourer to support our busy fitout projects within various community hubs across Thurrock and the surrounding area. You’ll play an important role in keeping the site running efficiently by assisting tradespeople, managing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, decorators) on-site.
*
Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
*
Clearing and tidying work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
*
Adhering to site health and safety regulations at all times.
*
General manual labour tasks as required.
Essential Requirements:
*
Valid Green CSCS Card (and equivalent qualifications).
*
Minimum 1 year of construction site experience, ideally within fitout or refurbishment contracts.
*
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks.
*
Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.
*
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly.
