Mechanical Fitter required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful Candidate will be undertaking Dismantling, repair and fitting responsibilities on a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.

Mechanical Fitter Position Overview

Strip down and reassembly of the company's fleet of Xylem electric submersible pumps
Conducting preventative maintenance
Troubleshooting mechanical issues
Fitting of components
Full strip down and assembly

Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

Previous experience in Preventative maintenance on Pumping equipment
Knowledge and experience of Pumping machinery
Able to troubleshoot mechanical issues
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Ideally qualified in an Engineering discipline
Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee

Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

£15.35 per hour
Full time, 39-hour week
Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 Friday 8:00 - 15:30
Overtime Available
33 Days holiday including public holidays
