? Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
? Contract Duration: Ongoing starting 31st March
Do you have experience in Council Tax billing and recovery? Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? We are looking for a Customer Service Operative to join their team, handling inbound calls and supporting residents with their council tax enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ First point of contact for residents regarding Council Services, including Council Tax.
✅ Assist customers with understanding their council tax bills, payment plans, and account details.
✅ Set up and manage Direct Debits, payment plans, and alternative payment options.
✅ Support residents with council tax-related issues such as arrears, disputes, and exemptions.
✅ Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
✅ Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update council systems accordingly.
Essential Requirements:
✔ Experience handling Council Tax billing and recovery enquiries (Essential).
✔ Experience using revenue systems such as NEC Northgate (Essential).

Additional Information:
* All hours up to 37 per week will be paid at plain time.
