Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Location: Dronfield

Pay Range/details: up to £42,000

Contract Type: Permanent

Our client is looking for a BIM Coordinator to support the BIM Team Leader with BIM coordination and the delivery of BIM models for complex fire, life safety, electronic security systems and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities -BIM Coordinator

Coordinating and managing all BIM requirements in projects
Delegating tasks to BIM Technicians
Liaising and collaborating with clients and external stakeholders
Creating internal clash reports
Attending BIM coordination meetings
Setting up models
Ensuring links in models are updated weekly
Performing CAD checks
Exporting & uploading models to CDE
Working closely with technicians
Supporting and guiding BIM Technicians about project specifics
Disseminating information from BIM execution plans
Qualifications & Requirements – BIM Coordinator

Previous BIM coordination experience
Computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
Prior experience working with 2D & 3D software
Excellent attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
To be honest, trustworthy and to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to finance and tenders
Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies
Ability to work using your own initiative
Previous experience within a related field is desirable
Previous experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit is desirable
Experience using AutoDesk Construction Cloud is desirable
Experience using Revit MEP is desirable
Recognised BIM qualification is desirable
