About the Role:

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work as a valued member of our client's Teesside team. As a Hose Assembly Operative, your duties will include assembling composite, hydraulic, and industrial hoses, testing hoses, handling general workshop duties, assisting with trade counter sales, and making deliveries. This role offers a varied and rewarding experience, allowing you to contribute to the success of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Accurately select stock items and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Ensure safe packaging of orders for delivery.
Assemble composite and hydraulic hoses.
Carry out general stores duties.
Drive safely and deliver products on time.
Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.
Load and unload products safely.
Follow driving laws and regulations.
Handle fragile and hazardous products with care.
Record all stock movements accurately.
Collaborate with the team to support and develop the workshop.
Maintain a hazard-free working area by following health and safety policies.
Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the organisation.Essential Skills and Experience:

High level of manual dexterity and accuracy.
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality service.
Good level of fitness, with the ability to be on your feet throughout the day and perform lifting tasks.
Compliance with Company Health and Safety policy.
Forklift Truck Licence (advantageous).
First Aid Certificate (advantageous).
Basic warehouse knowledge (essential).Attitude:
