Production Supervisor – Sheet Metal / Fabrication

About the Role:

A client of ours in the Poole area, who are an estalished and leading provider of high-quality welding and fabrication solutions, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the shop floor. This is a key role ensuring production runs efficiently, jobs progress on schedule, and any issues are swiftly resolved.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate shop floor activities to maintain smooth production flow.
Act as the first point of contact for resolving production issues.
Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
Liaise with the production team, management, and other departments to streamline operations.
Ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the production process.
Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, enforcing health & safety procedures.
Hands-on Welding & Fabricating if/when required.Requirements:

✔ Proven experience in a sheet metal or fabrication environment.
✔ Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow efficiently.
✔ Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
✔ Knowledge of health & safety regulations within a manufacturing setting.
