An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Department on a permanent part time basis.
The Role:
* Daily posting of bank transactions using bank feeds
* Assist with Sales Ledger processes
* Post purchase invoices on Sage 50 Accounts
* Process payments
* Reconcile supplier statements & prepare payment runs
* Raise Intercompany recharges
* Process sub-contractor invoices & submit CIS returns
* Assisting with month end procedures
* Potential additional ad-hoc tasks as required
Experience/Qualifications:
* Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
* Previous experience in Accounts Assistant role essential
* AAT Level 2 or above desired but not compulsory with the relevant experience
* Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Ability to work efficiently with good time management & attention to detail
* Strong organizational & problem solving skills
* Ability to work on your own initiative, although also as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
