Role: HR Advisor
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid - 3 days in-office)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to day-to-day HR queries from colleagues and external stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, including absence management and policy queries.
Lead workforce planning strategies to align with organisational goals, forecasting needs and addressing skill gaps.
Design and deliver engaging induction and training programs to support employee development.
Partner with managers to develop recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring a robust talent pipeline.
Manage organisational development projects, driving change and supporting continuous improvement.
Maintain HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and accurate record-keeping.
What you'll need:
Proven experience in a generalist HR role with experience in organisational development and workforce planning
Strong end to end project management skills with a track record of delivering strategic initiatives.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in analysing workforce data to inform decision-making.
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and driving improvements.
CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential)
Previous experience in a third sector organisation (desirable but not essential)
Additional requirements:
Full clean UK driving license and own transport for work related travel
A fully enhanced DBS Certificate (which will be completed by the organisation)
