Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Shipdham, Norfolk
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4.00pm, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour. Overtime available when required.
Salary: Dependant on experience.

Within the Falcon Group is Falcon Tower Crane Services, the largest tower crane supplier in the UK and one of the largest in the world with just under 450 tower cranes nationwide. Falcon Power Generation with 400 generators nationwide along with Falcon Freight who operate a fleet of 32 HGV vehicles with a selection of units supporting artic and rigid HIAB cranes.
Due to the continued expansion within the Group, Falcon Tower Crane Services are seeking to recruit a Yard Loader to join one of our Loading Teams.
Responsibilities – Yard Loader:
Configuration and preparation of tower cranes in accordance with the build sheet and the manufacturer’s manual; ensuring the safe loading and unloading of cranes and components; arranging the storage of complete cranes; moving of cranes and components to and from the Paint Shop and Fabrication Departments as and when required.
Qualifications - Yard Loader:
A40C – Pedestrian Operated Tower Crane.
A40B – Slinger.
Crawler Crane.
Shunter Driver.
Forklift Driver.
Banksman.
Working at Height.
Manual Handling.
Abrasive Wheels.
Wire Rope Appreciation.
Skills – Yard Loader:
The ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.
The ability to work well in a team.
Must have the ability to work well under pressure.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Problem Solving.
Exceptional time keeping and the ability to prioritise workload.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
Good time keeping along with a proven record of reliability.
Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions, for which, suitable PPE will be provided.
