About the company

Our client are a sub-contractors in the Gloucester area that use heavy machinery. They have been going over 60 years and manufacture for a variety of industries such as marine, aerospace and dental.

As a CNC Turner your duties will include:

* Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes

* Programming using Fanuc controls

* Manufacturing one offs and batches up to 20

* Working to tight tolerances

* Follow engineering drawings

The ideal candidates for this CNC Turner opportunity will:

* Be able to fully program using Fanuc controls

* Have experience programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes

* Have worked in a sub contract environment

* Previously have used a variet of materials such as stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium

* Be able to work unsupervised

* Work to tolerances of 0.01

As a CNC Turner you will work:

* Monday – Friday

* 7am – 4pm, 12pm finish on Fridays

* Up to £18 per hour depending no experience
