Strong Tutors needed immediately in Cardiff!

Are you passionate about helping disaffected pupils with behavioural or emotional needs?

Are you nurturing, flexible and patient?

Do you have experience with behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.

TeacherActive are currently recruiting Tutors to support the learning and development of pupils requiring additional support in Schools.  Some of these pupils would be NEET and have been excluded from mainstream education. The School work with a wide-range of pupils with additional learning and emotional/social needs. Experience with challenging behaviour is a must.

The biggest focus will be on delivering core skills in English and Maths. 

Skills and Experience:

– Understanding and appreciation of working with disengaged pupils and those with                        SEN/ALN/Challenging Behaviour;

– Positive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions;

– Excellent written communication and reporting;

– Excellent timekeeping and reliability with an empathetic and understanding nature;
