Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Retail Doorman, or experience in hospitality to join our team at our prestigious fine wine and spirits store in Central London. As a Doorman, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff, and high-value products. The position is full time, 5 days and 42.5 hours per week

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors. We would like the candidate to bring their own personality to the role.

Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor to deter theft and ensure the safety of customers and staff.

Monitor the store entrance, welcoming every customer that enters, opening the door for them, and helping them with any of their needs (getting to the car etc, holding an umbrella for them).

Assist in the apprehension of shoplifters and liaise with law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed and accurate reports. Collaborate with the Store Manager and other team members to develop and implement effective security measures and improvements.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
