We need a Highways Operations Manager for a position offering a salary range of £45,000–£49,875 per year. The company is based in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset

The key requirements for this role include qualifications related to highways and significant experience in highway management. We are need a individual with expertise in highways, including reactive maintenance, pricing, P&L, and KPIs. We are not looking for a supervisor, but rather a proven manager with strong business acumen, an understanding of the public sector, and excellent communication skills at all levels. As a crucial member of the senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in efficiently managing operational and service delivery matters. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will oversee the effective delivery of Highway Cyclical and Reactive Maintenance services for the Council. This involves managing teams, ensuring exceptional customer service, and meeting specified targets.
