I am currently searching for a PLC Commissioning Engineer to join a progressive, fast growing and leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, testing and commissioning all low level controls systems. Furthermore the PLC controls engineer identifies opportunities for continuous improvement during the life span of the installed systems.
 
**THIS IS A 10 ON 4 OFF POSITION** 70% European travel expenses paid
Educational requirements:

BSc or HND/HNC in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in similar work. Technical Requirements:

Experience with ladder logic on Siemens Step7 or similar experience.
Experience with bus systems (ASI-BUS, PROFIBUS, CAN BUS, etc.)
Experience with different actuators and sensors (SICK sensors, SEW drives, etc.)
Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical journals.
Ability to write technical user and procedure manuals.
To be able to respond to detailed inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers verbally and in written form.
To apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as analysis, frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists
