Main responsibilities

You will be office based as well as frequently attending sites across the South east.

Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements for commercial projects.

Carrying out site surveys to determine requirements and to assist with pricing for installation works with varying degrees of design requirements.

Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.

Present proposals to clients and external project team members.

Who you will be working for

A well established HVAC specialist who offer all aspects of design, installation and maintenance with an established building services consulting practice based in Kent.

What you’ll need

Ideally you will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a HVAC design engineer or similar position

Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices

Knowledge of building services plant – Heating, Ventilation and Ductwork, Air Conditioning, Heat Pumps and Hot and Cold Water services etc.

Ideally holds Chartered Engineer status

Proficiency in using common design software, such as AutoCAD etc
