Electrician

Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a Mechanical Contractor based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

They are currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join their dynamic and expanding team.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of electrical appliances, including both commercial and residential installations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct service and maintenance of electrical appliances within commercial and domestic properties.

* Perform commercial and residential electrical installations, including 1 and 3-phase power installations.

* Carry out EICR electrical testing and energy-saving LED lighting upgrades.

* Provide planned and reactive electrical service and maintenance.

* Attend to service requests and reactive breakdowns, fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.

* Carry out day-to-day responsive maintenance, service, and repairs as instructed.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in completing electrical installations.

* Strong knowledge and understanding of BS 7671 - IET Wiring

* Willing to travel to multiple sites across the West & East Midlands, and occasionally further as required.

* City & Guilds BS7671:2018 Level 3 - Electrical Installations certification.

* City & Guilds 2391 - Testing and Inspecting (previously 2394/2395) certification – Essential.
