Job Advert: Electrical Engineer

CCL Global are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to be close to Bristol to work on a hybrid work model. The successful applicant will be a key appointment to the project and will work within the client’s integrated Electrical Engineering Team, to lead the development and execution phase activities of Commissioning.

Location: Bristol, UK

Contract role Inside IR35

Key duties will include:

* Performing calculations upon request

* Ensuring that all the impacts of site activities on the design are well managed and identified including, Design changes, open points and redlines.

* Reporting to Electrical Discipline Manager

* Contribute to the closure of design open points after the delivery of electrical design packages to site.

* Informing other disciplines when transverse impact

* Informing checker and approver as soon as possible when answer is ready

* Informing manager when topic need escalation

Requirements:

* Degree in Electrical or experience in Electrical Design

* Cable Sizing

* Equipment Installation (Switchboards or Transformers)

* Design of electrical Network

* Earthing and protections

* Navisworks

* Not needed but Nuclear experience is a desirable=
