Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Congleton, Cheshire

Are you passionate about supporting education and looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work within high schools across the Congleton area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students continue to engage in learning during a teacher's absence. If you have experience working with young people, are adaptable, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support students in the classroom in the absence of the class teacher
Ensure that students remain on task and complete set work
Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment
Assist with the overall well being of students
Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members
Follow the school's policies and procedures

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience working with young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is a plus)
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to remain calm and manage classroom behaviour effectively
A positive, proactive approach to supporting student's learning and development
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
A flexible approach to work
