Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to maintain and repair various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally to support operations.

Responsibilities

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.

* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.

* Operate and maintain logic controllers for various facility systems.

* Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.

* Supervise and lead small teams during maintenance projects or repairs.

* Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to facility-related inquiries.

* Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.

Qualifications

* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems.

* Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation.

* Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.

* Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks.

* Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.

* Proven customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

* Ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members when required.

* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintenance tasks.
