Finance Manager | South London | Hybrid/Flexible | 37 hours per week/full-time | 8 evening meetings per year | £45,000 - £47,000

Established in 1981, CAYSH is both a charity and not-for-profit organisation, that specialises in helping to reduce the homelessness of young people and vulnerable adults.

What will your role look like?

Responsible for the finance department including accounting functions, rent and departmental developments
Ensuring statutory and compliance obligations are met, including statutory accounting and tax issues
Ensuring adherence and development of Finance Policies and Procedures
Planning and coordinating payments
Preparing monthly management accounts
Producing Month end and Year End Accounts
Supervising and developing the finance team
Developing credit control strategies
Managing cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital
Handling grants and other funding including restricted funds
Collaborating with the CEO to set budgets and financial goals and targets, and working with senior managers to achieve these
Offering insights on the financial performance and health of the organisation
Collaborating with other teams to identify cost reduction, revenue generating, and process improvement opportunities
Assisting the CEO in developing financial and pricing models
Identifying financial risks and proposing mitigation measures
