A brand-new opportunity has become available for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a fantastic local firm of Accountants based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This position, designed to join on a permanent, basis will report into one of the team’s standout managers and support the wider team.

This is a newly created position following successful and continuous growth over the past 12 months. Duties will predominantly include the preparation of management accounts and year-end financial statements.

​

As Semi Senior Accountant you will be entitled to a generous wider benefits package including full study support and generous flexibility including working from home and a core hours system.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

*

Preparation of Management Accounts for small and medium sized businesses (SME’s)

*

Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and SME businesses

*

Preparation of quarterly VAT

*

Preparation of P11D’s

*

Build strong relationships with a variety of senior stakeholders including business owners

Person specification:

*

AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA part-qualified

*

Experience of using QuickBooks and Xero (desirable)

£25,000 - £30,000
