And right now, we’re looking for a Project Planner. Based at our Almelo site location the role forms part of the Group Projects Project Support team, which provides direct project support to efficiently and effectively manage the delivery of project expenditure.

The Project Planner will be assigned to either one major or a number of smaller projects The Project Planner will ensure that the project schedule fully reflects the scope of the project and in accordance with Urenco’s policies and procedures.

The Project Planner will normally work remotely from line management and is expected to be able to operate with autonomy whilst providing services to several customers.

What will your day look like?

• Facilitate and run interactive planning sessions for the development of project schedules
• Planning of project activities, including schedule development
• Create initial project baseline schedules and provide planning expertise to project teams
• Ensuring project schedules in Primavera P6 and / or Microsoft Project that reflect all interface
milestones and activity durations from multiple contractors
• Development planning activities ensuring flawless integration of all project requirements,
deliverables and resources required throughout the project lifecycle
• Project planning fit for purpose in accordance with Urenco’s policies and procedures
• Collaborating with the wider PMO and project management team

What do you need to be great at this role?

• Min 5 years project scheduling/planning experience
• Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant qualification
• Demonstrable experience from concept development to hand-over
• Process plant/Engineering Brownfield project and/or turnaround/shutdown/outage experience
• Ability to plan at appropriate levels
• Full understanding of Earned Value (EVM) and scheduling techniques
• Expert user of Primavera (P6) planning package and/or conversant with Microsoft Project
• Probabilistic modelling knowledge
• Experienced user of PRA, @Risk or equivalent is useful
• Conversant in business English
