We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a leader in the manufacturing, designing and installation of bespoke products for a wide range of sectors, based in Chorley.
This is a business that is going through significant growth, with a number of exciting projects already underway with more in the pipeline too.
What’s on offer?
* £17.71 per hour
* Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm / Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
* 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
* Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
* Yearly pay review

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?
* Working on a variety of exciting projects across multiple sectors
* Assembling and fitting various mechanical parts & components
* Stripping and repairing parts
* Reading from engineering drawings
* Working on a variety of products such as motor, gearboxes, pumps and valves
* Performing routine quality checks
* Performing final finishing/polishing
What do you need?
* Mechanical fitting experience
* Machine building experience
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (desirable)
* Toolmaking experience (desirable)
* UK Driving license (desirable)
