New Opportunity – Technical Sales Manager
Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to oversee the management of various projects throughout Europe. In this role you will be key in developing new business, managing existing accounts and providing technical and commercial proposals. You will be working closely a range of departments to ensuring a smooth and efficient service.

The ideal candidate will a strong knowledge and understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes in a bespoke or custom-made environment. Ideally, candidates will have previous experience in either the power or oil and gas industries.
 
Requirements for this role:  
Essential:

Previous experience working in a technical sales or similar role.
Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (ONC or above).
Previous experience in an Engineering, Production or Manufacturing environment.
Estimating knowledge and the ability to work with engineering and manufacturing teams to create project proposals and quotes.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Be a great team player, with a positive approach and a commercial outlook.
Have excellent organisational, time management, networking and communication skills.
Provide technical expertise during the sales process.  
Desirable:

Level 5 – Mechanical Engineering based qualification (bachelor’s degree)
Experience working for Oil and gas or Power industries
A second language (Spanish, German, etc)  
About the role:
You will be based at our clients Head Office in Nottingham.
This role will require occasional domestic and international travel.
