Part-Time Year 6 Teacher (March 2024 - March 2025)

A primary school in WA7 is looking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team for two days per week from March 2024 to March 2025. This role offers the opportunity to support students in a key stage of their education, preparing them for SATs and the transition to secondary school. The school provides a supportive teaching environment with strong leadership and a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Engaging Lessons - Deliver well-structured Year 6 lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
SATs Preparation - Support students in achieving their best results ahead of their SATs.
Maintain a Positive Classroom Environment - Foster an inclusive and supportive learning space.
Collaborate with Colleagues - Work alongside fellow teachers and support staff to enhance student learning.
Assess and Track Progress - Monitor student development and provide feedback to ensure academic success.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally in Year 6.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Two professional references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference.
