Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Production Manager by a specialist high volume manufacturing business. In this role you will support the Manufacturing Operations Manager in driving the production performance across a rapidly expanding specialist business unit. You will be key in setting and delivering goals and improvements for output ,quality, waste , H&S ,efficiency and culture

As the ideal candidate you will have experience in a volume manufacturing business, with the ability to develop behaviour, engagement, lean thinking, best practice and skills across the production team.

Your role will involve:

Contribute to the development of the companys corporate strategy and lead strategy

development in the production area

Direct and control the production function to ensure that finished goods of the required

Quality standard are available to customer within agreed costs and at the right times.

Develop the Team especially team leaders, train, support and give one to one advice where needed.

Maintain an effective working relationship with all other managers to coordinate company activities in support of business objectives.

Leading and encouraging lean activities across the site

Maintain critical focus on waste and improvements to yield

Lead and Drive 6S to exceptional standards
