We are currently looking for a Civil Engineering Design Technician (Highway and drainage), for our client`s successful firm of chartered consulting engineers.

We are seeking a motivated candidate to work on the design of various infrastructure projects. The role predominantly covers the North of England, centred on Leeds, but will occasionally include sites across the UK.

The full time, permanent post is within the civil engineering design team, which is responsible for the design of highway and drainage schemes for commercial, residential and industrial developments. Experience in road (Section 38 and 278), and drainage (Section 104) design is required and working knowledge of Micro drainage, Civils 3D, PDS and AutoCAD would be an advantage.

The candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK, and will ideally have 2-3 previous UK based consultancy experience within this field of work.

The suitable candidate will possess:

* A recognised engineering diploma – or be working towards one

* Knowledge and understanding of the current technical standards

* Excellent time and management skills

* Good communication skills

* Full UK driving licence
