Electrical Engineer
Redditch, Worcestershire
£40k – £50k per annum (depending on experience)
Permanent position
Working hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
The ideal candidate must have previous manufacturing industry experience in the design and development of new products, seeing them through to completion.
Typical duties will include:
* To design and develop enhancements to the existing product range.
* To support other departments where required on issues of a technical nature.
* Provide technical support to customer, which may involve site visits of both a national and international nature.
* The production of, and maintenance of technical documentation as required, including 3D CAD models, 2D CAD drawings, DXF files for laser cutting, bills of materials, technical specifications, PCB gerber files, test data etc.
* To ensure that the products meet mandatory legislation and customer specific legislation.
* Testing of products – installation, collecting results and analysing data – creation of test reports.
Essential Experience
* At least 2 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience of PLC / Logic Relay Programming and control philosophies
* Extensive use of electrical design software including PCB design
* Experience of Electrical Control Systems / Panel Design
* A good CAD background and preferably be fully conversant with Solidworks 2D / 3D Modelling and AutoCAD 2D.
* Proficient MS Office user.
* SAP

* Has some Mechanical Knowledge

* Knowledge of Coding
* Knowledge of Safety regulations
* Good Communication skills
* Can deal with complex problem solving
* Excellent attention to detail
* Very organised
* Can use their own initiative
* Have flexibility in performing your tasks, and others required
* Aptitude for learning
* Excellent time management
