Electrical Engineer

Client direct role for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's team on a fantastic commercial site in Canary Wharf, East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to gain great career experience, additional training, internal progression and the chance to work with a highly reputable company. In this role, you will be part of a team, carrying out PPM and Reactive Maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, develop strong relations with clients, liaise with subcontractors, ensure all logbooks are updated regularly, and carry out general building services. This role will follow a continental shift pattern but day shift only.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent + 17th Edition minimum),  at least 3 + years experience in commercial maintenance, great communication skills and to be personable and presentable.

Duties:

PPMs & Reactive maintenance
Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
Organising subcontractors
Quotations 
Health & Safety
Logbooks
Risk assessments
Permits to work
Requirements:

Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent + 17th edition minimum)
At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance 
Personable and polite 
Career driven 
Apprentice trained would be desirable, not essential
