Copello have partnered with a leading defence organisation in the recruitment of an Quality Assurance Engineer to join their electronics team based in the Hertfordshire area.

Duties will include:

* Ensure Product Life Cycle reviews are planned, carried out and actions managed appropriately.

* Ensure compliance to Electronic Engineering BMS procedures is maintained.

* Review and maintain Equipment Quality planning documentation.

* Provide Non-Conformance data analysis and summary reports.

Key requirements:

* Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance or considerable previous experience in related role.

* Experienced quality professionals, preferably within Electronic Engineering with a proven track record in Quality Assurance.

* Defence, Aerospace, Automotive industry experience preferred

* Practitioner of current QA problem solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.)

* Good knowledge of the product lifecycle - specifically in development

* Strong analytical skills; ability to run reports in Excel, use SAP QM system, and document management tools

* Continuous improvement awareness and ability to use own initiative to deliver improvements

My client are offering a salary of circa £45,000 DoE, hybrid working – 3 days a week on site, company bonus, fantastic site facilities and excellent career progression, training and development opportunities.
