The Role

As Technical Manager, you will:

Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, including food safety, quality control, and process improvement staff.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and environmental guidelines.

Monitor and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Develop and implement new technologies or systems to improve product quality and production processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and logistics, to support product development and manufacturing goals.

Conduct audits, identifying areas for improvement, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide technical support for troubleshooting production issues and resolving challenges in a timely manner.

The Candidate

The successful Technical Manager will have:

Experience in a technical management role within the food manufacturing or bakery sector. Experience with bakery products is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of food production processes, quality control standards, and food safety regulations.

Proven ability to manage and lead teams, drive performance, and mentor staff in a technical setting.

Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills, with a hands-on approach to overcoming technical challenges.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to maintain high levels of quality control and adhere to strict production standards.
