The Position
Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Quality Auditor with Data analysis experience to join them in Barking and Dagenham as they continue to progress along their improvement journey.
This is a pivotal role in helping them to be that critical friend to our operational Social Work colleagues, evaluating and enhancing the quality of services for vulnerable children and shining a light on their practice that needs celebrating or improving.
The Role
Working closely with colleagues across Barking and Dagenham Children's Social Care and Support Services, you'll conduct in-depth case file and thematic audits and dip sampling activity, so as to assess the impact of practice on the lives of families and children we work with. You will also be responsible for overseeing the data collection from audit activity, providing analytical overview from findings, producing data sets, analytical insights, tracking intelligence and produce concise reports detailing patterns and themes in practice that will be shared with operational leadership team to inform direction of travel and areas of improvement.
Your contributions will inform practice improvements and workforce development activities, ensuring we continually strive for excellence in our services.
You will also have the opportunity to present audit findings and share lessons learned with practitioners, managers, and senior leaders, alongside the QA leads and Practice Auditors in the team, thus contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning within our organisation.
About you
You will have ambition, energy, and a drive to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families. You will be able to spot, analyse and drive positive change with our organisation, helping to improve and transform practice.
You will possess extensive experience in conducting audits within children's services, demonstrating a keen understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
You will have excellent data and analytical abilities, excelling at collecting and interpreting complex data and distilling key insights to drive meaningful change, as well as developing useable and practicable data sets/ frameworks and reports that help tell the story of practice.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with data visualisation tools.
Knowledge of SQL for database querying and management.
Ability to use data collection tools and techniques effectively. You will use excellent communication skills to establish working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to help drive our CARES practice model and standards.
