GSL Education are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Ashington. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, where students can thrive and develop a love for English. Whether you are an experienced English Teacher or newly qualified, we want to hear from you!

As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the needs of all students.
Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and enthusiasm.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop resources and share best practices.
Prepare students for exams, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
As an English Teacher, essential requirements include the following:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A passion for English literature and language.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school (preferred but not essential).
Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
