Job Summary
We are seeking numerous HGV Technicians to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Hours

Hours:(40-45hrs) Monday to Friday 2 alternating shifts 6am-2.30pm and 1pm-9.30pm

Duties

* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.

* Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs, including equipment repair and fabrication as needed.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Experience

* Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role is advantageous.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

* Familiarity with electrical systems in heavy vehicles is highly desirable.

* Experience in fabricating parts or components will be considered an advantage.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: £18.00-£22.00 per hour
