Are you an experienced Road Freight Forwarder looking for your next challenge? Jackson Hogg have partnered with a global freight forwarder operating across sea, road, and air, and become part of a dynamic team shaping the future of logistics.

Location: Gateshead (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £32k

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and manage road freight shipments across the UK and Europe, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

* Planning groupage, full and part loads into the EU.

* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide excellent customer service and resolve any transport issues.

* Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs clearances where required.

* Monitor shipments, track progress, and update customers with real-time information.

* Maintain compliance with all regulations, including health and safety and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in road freight forwarding, ideally within a global or multi-modal logistics environment.

* Strong understanding of transport regulations and customs procedures.

* Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.

* Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office tools.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering exceptional service.
