A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced CDM Principal Designer to join their dynamic team in Sheffield.

The successful CDM Principal Designer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of a diverse range of construction projects. The successful CDM Principal Designer

Provide expert advice on health and safety and CDM compliance to clients, designers, and contractors.
Manage the pre-construction phase, including the preparation of pre-construction information and design risk assessments.
Lead and facilitate CDM workshops and contribute to the development of design safety strategies.
Work on a variety of projects, from residential to large-scale commercial developments.
Ensure all projects comply with CDM regulations and promote best practices in design risk management.

To be considered for the role of CDM Principal Designer, candidates should have

At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment.
A strong background in construction design and management, with specific experience in delivering CDM Principal Designer services.
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
Membership in a relevant professional body, such as IOSH or APS.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
