FP&A Accountant

An excellent opportunity for someone to join a successful well-established company, based near Heathrow off the M4/M25. We are looking for a highly motivated individual . You will be joining a proactive and dedicated team that are supportive and friendly. The successful candidate will need at least one years’ experience. You must be an enthusiastic self-driven person with a desire to develop and progress.

Accountant Key Duties

* Responsible analysing and preparing reports for multiple international entities including UK, USA, Canada and Singapore.

* Leading the financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across the business

* Responsibility for producing accurate and timely management reports, including an analysis of sales, operational expenditure

* Provide commercial insight and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business on performance

* Take ownership of performance management for the business including identifying and reporting KPIs which are linked to company strategy and drive positive actions

* Prepare financial forecasts and budgets

* Support the strategic planning and strategic initiatives of the company, including acquisitions and investment appraisal, by providing financial planning and modelling skills

* Support and challenge the sales and operations teams with financial issues including providing financial training

* Adopting a partner / challenger role in evaluating business plans.

* Ensure integrity of financial data supplied by financial accounting team to other areas of the business and to external stakeholders.

* Assisting the FD with ad hoc duties

Accountant Person Specification Competence

* Ideally Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or working towards qualification

* Ability to keep everything under control while also reacting to new challenges.

* Proactive individual with the ability to effectively manage various projects while adhering to deadlines.

* Strong communicating and management skills, capable of liaising with finance and non-finance specialists.

* Ability to work autonomously and prioritise own deliverables under time pressure.

* Excellent organisational skills

* Accurate inputting skills

* Team player

* Knowledge of NetSuite, is highly advantageous

* Knowledge of Quickbooks is advantageous

* Advanced Excel knowledge is essential
