Quality Engineer

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £35k per annum

Nicholas Associates are currently working with an established manufacturing company who are looking to add a Quality Engineer to their Quality Team. Reporting to the quality manager you will be responsible for identifying and reducing the potential risks and defects of components.

The Role:

The management of non-conformities that occur in production.
Escalate quality issues to suppliers.
Chair weekly review meetings of process performance and trend in relation to poor quality output, support investigation and determine actions for improvement.
Provide supervision to the Quality Inspectors.
Prepare inspection and test plans and other documentation to support smooth transition to manufacturing.
Conduct internal audits.

The Person:

Degree, or equivalent, in relevant discipline
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard.
Practical knowledge of root cause analysis and other quality assurance tools and methodologies.

The Details:

35 Hours per week
Salary: £35k DOE
Early finish Friday.
