Mechanical Engineer | Commercial Building Services / Maintenance | £40,000 Basic Salary | OTE: 50-60K per annum | Permanent Role | Static | Ilford, East London.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our building services maintenance team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical / hvac plant equipment.

Package: What is in it for you?

* Basic Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

* Status: Permanent, PAYE

* Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm

* High amounts of paid overtime available (x1.5 - x2 rates: additional earning potential £5K - £15K per annum).

* Call out rota 1 in 2 weeks (site un-staffed over night). £150 per week standby (£3.9K per annum) + minimum of 4 hours if called out.

Duties:

* PPMs (planned preventative maintenance) to Mechanical / HVAC building services equipment.

* Reactive maintenance / fault finding / repairs to Mechanical / HVAC building services equipment.

* Equipment may include: Pumps, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Split / multi split systems, ventilation, VRV systems / VAV systems, Pressurisation Units, Hot / Cold Water Systems etc.

* Coil cleans, filter cleans, filter changes, component replacements etc.

* Updating company CAFM system on works.

* Ensuring compliance / health and safety policies are adhered to.

Requirements:

* Ideally hold a City and Guilds in a Mechanical Discipline (ie: Mechanical Engineering, Heating and Ventilation, Plumbing, Air Conditioning or similar)

* Time served applications will also be accepted.

* Must have experience working within commercial environments / commercial building services.
